Spatial Joins

  1. Open the Council District Boundaries shapefile in QGIS.
  2. Open the NYPD Motor Vehicle Collisions CSV.
  3. Use Join Attributes by Location (Summary) from the search bar to find the total (sum) and average (mean) injuries by council district.
  4. Make a choropleth with the result.
